i did some spring cleaning today, mostly because my cupboard was going explode soon so i decided to see whether i should throw away some things. listened to CN Blue’s songs as i went through the stuff. i have been listening to CN Blue everyday for about one to two weeks now. i didnt listen to kpop at all before CN Blue but after hearing some of their songs in We Got Married, i realised their genre is sort of different from the typical kpop i hear around. some on youtube said theirs was more like indie rock. i really love both their rock and slow songs. the next time they come singapore, i’ll probably go and see them haha!

2011 had been a fulfilling year. made new friends from iras, had a go at a job at call centre (which i think is quite unforgettable, for the good and for the bad…) and started uni and made more new friends hopefully 2012 will be another great year as well! i really dont believe its the end of the world…

sy left a while after jiaying came. the three of us wanted to go kbox at first but it turned out to be very ex ’cause nessy didnt bring her student card. so in the end, we decided to walk to the national museum. i went to the museum around a month ago with my mum for her experiential tour during which i realised its free for students haha! and the exhibits were quite interesting!

thsi year’s xmas deco in orchard is one of my favourite cos of its colour theme: BLUE!!! and white! and its the shade of blue that i like haha! saw some interestingly-dressed people along orchard xD

half of the holiday is over already. received my allocated timetable weeks ago but its so screwed that i am probably going to end up add/drop-ing almost all the classes. if everything goes well, i will end up with a 3day week even though each day is going to be quite packed. the courses next sem seem very heavy, each having its own difficulties:
accounting II -which i heard is going to be a lot harder than accounting I
marketing
statistics
econs -AGAIN -.- which i didnt choose to be exempted cos of actuarial science
organisational behaviour -which everyone who took it disliked in sem1
communication fundamentals which involves endless presentations

and results will be out soon on 22nd… i totally have no idea what to expect from it -.-

i think i am going to clear my space in the cupboard soon… the one holding all my momentos and gifts etc. thinking of doing a post on that so that i can look back one day even if i lost some of the stuff

went kbox with xianjin yenyee shijia and shiyao after FM paper on thursday. its quite fun to sing with a new group of friends haha saw this 5 level playground thing for kids at jurong safra and we wanted to go play heh… ticket price for adults is around $5, which is quite worth it watched na xie nian on friday for a second time at jurong point and its still as funny and touching as ever i dont mind watching it for a third time haha! its quite amazing that until now the shows are still full house and still alot of pple left without waiting for the last part after the credits xD

i am now catching up on the dramas and variety shows. its so shuang to just slack without thinking of anything else woohoo!!! cant wait to catch up with different groups of friends

went to TODAI@MBS for dinner some nights ago with my family cos my dad recommended the place after having been there for a wedding reception. its international seafood and sushi buffet and around 68 per person, but the price is totally worth it!! i wanted to blog on that together with photos but there was no time -.- photos are on fb! in the end we received $40 voucher so we decided we shall go there again during cny

selina got married on 31st oct! not that thats got anything to do with me but its so touching!! spent some time looking at the photos and videos on monday when i was supposed to study for accounting quiz (on tues) but good thing the quiz wasnt that bad haha! managed to finish ahead of time

went to jurong regional library to study with jiaying and nessy today. it was a very productive day managed to finish accounting and fm tutorials, read and make notes for 2 chapters for IT and completed one past year paper for fm woohoo!! i feel so accomplished but theres so much more to do. one week plus to chiong finish 8-10 exam papers and theres IT quiz next week -.- looking forward to the singing session at teoheng on sunday with ex-colleagues and watching 那些年. that will be the only two outings before the end of exams sigh!

going to the airport to send my sis off to shanghai on saturday night/midnight… how wish i am the one flying off…

i am currently drowning in projects even though its near the end of the term. i think i prefer doing tutorials than projects cos time is more easily managed. one good thing is contract law is finally over for biz law, so moving on to business organisations now. tutorials seem to be slightly easier but then again, i should not assume anything for biz law cos it always turns out to be the opposite of what i thought -.-

nanyang’s eoy programme is here again so my sis will be flying to shanghai soon. how i wish i am the one flying off… so many places i want to go!! like taiwan!!!! (envy sengyew cos he is going taiwan soon, even though its only for ns haha) and i want go hk again too! didnt get to play much the last time round -.- cant wait for december to be here even though i know the one month break will zoom pass like crazy. KBOX! DRAMAS! MOVIES! (i want to watch 那些年我们一起追的女孩 )

life has been REALLY hectic, almost like blindly following a routine over and over again… i was quite looking forward to recess week before i realised how much work there was to complete -.- thank god i didnt have any backlog, if not it would be far worse phew!

some updates here:
quite a few friends flew off to uk already but i only sent one of them off >< i blame the flight time and the amount of work i have zzz but still wishing them all the best

my desk looks like how it looked like during a level again… just that it used to be one whole stack of files and now its one stack of textbooks. the only reason why the files are still on the other table in the living room is because my desk got no space sigh… i had a total of two quizzes so far for all my courses, which is quite few i guess! but mid-terms coming up for accounting and fm and i can really feel the pressure building up -.- whoever saying that a lvl is the worst is WRONG!!!

had my second driving test last tuesday and i passed woohoo!! with a total of 12 demerit points but i am still very happy haha!! i will forever remember the car number is 77 (lucky seven!) and whats more, vanessa drove that car on fri and she passed also!! waiting for the license to be posted now… its so shuang just to think about no more lessons to attend and no more money flowing out

finally went to cut my hair today cos there is a discount going on … the last haircut was probably a year ago haha! not really used to shorter hair now but definitely a lot easier to manage. i think i look weird though -.-

so thats about all for now… today is the last day of recess week. i cant believe it is ending already, when it didnt even feel like it started -.- its going to be full speed going on (with almost at least a test or major presentation every week) until the end of final exams. cant wait for december to be here!

went to sentosa for naat orientation on saturday. i think this would be my first visit to sentosa since stj in j1?? spent quite a long time waiting at vivo and the group of us were quite excited talking about the old huanzhugege haha! our group name was “pong-ah” like mahjong and it eventually became “pongah” or something lol! and there were 7 hwachong pple in the grp, which made it seem like a sch gathering or something xD played some icebreakers at sentosa and the slippers game. nasi lemak for lunch and some sort of amazing race after lunch. its not actually amazing race lar, just stations with tasks to complete. overall, it was quite a fun orientation but i think mainly its cos the group is good cant wait to see how the audit assignments are like.

and i FINALLY received my pottermore email yesterday so i spent around half the day completing book1. i think its quite smart of them to launch this thing cos it gives fans something to hang on to for another few more years but at the same time, i think its going to be quite boring waiting for the next book to come out (which i think will be sometime nextyear according to someone on the forum??) also there seems to be some problem with the dueling thing on the site cos its undergoing maintenance so things you can do on the site are sort of limited to brewing potions and practising spells. anyway, i am sorted into ravenclaw, which was the house i most wanted to go before my fav changed to slytherin so its not too disappointing i guess. and the pages looked so pretty with the blue theme got a phoenix core for my wand though its quite short haha. hwo i wish i am in the harry potter world where magic is real. then i will be learning potions and charms instead of business law and operations -.-

uni life is becoming a routine. i more or less enjoy the classes (some more than the others). the social part is more tiring because i have almost totally different classmates for each course cos of the fact that i am taking double degree. usually single degree pple will be assigned to a fixed tutorial group but in this case double degree pple are more like floaters. sometimes i really envy those pple with fixed tutorial groups like bearbear… its true to say that i may end up knowing alot more pple at the end of uni, but i think most of them are going to end up as acquaintance, not close friends.

driving is coming to a close (hopefully) cos my test is coming up next fri. praying hard i will pass so i dont need to spend more money and time on it. looking forward to dinner with 7G next tues and going to go to the airport next fri to send off a friend

my first day in uni was a tiring one. lessons from 9.30am to 9pm! of course hopefully this will be a once-off thing but i seriously dont think so sigh… i sort of enjoyed the lessons (2 seminars and 1 lecture) but it was really draining by the end of the day. everything’s so fast paced e.g. i already have a group presentation coming up 2 weeks later -.- and also one whole list of work to complete by the end of this week. i totally can imagine how things are going to accumulate and pile up if i slack off or how lost i am going to be if i happen to fall asleep in class zzz besides that, it was psychologically draining as well because i couldnt seem to relax in a new environment, which i have not experienced since sec 1. i miss having several friends in the same class T.T i can already see that tutorials or seminars in uni will not be like tutorials with 7G… I MISS JC SO MUCH!!!!

anw i hope i can pass the settling in phase soon! meanwhile i am looking forward to accessing pottermore! its going to be around late aug so cant wait!!
